Overview
The live element of Deflowered is an ever-evolving creature.  Right now, the show is about women losing their virginity; and it seeks to question this notion of "loss" in a thoughtful but always fun way.  No two shows are exactly the same.  Sometimes women tell their own stories and sometimes actresses tell the stories of others.  Occasionally, a story from the site is adapted into a multi-character scene.  For a better idea of where we are at in the evolutionary process, please check out the

Kate Ascott Evans (Performer, Co-Director)
Deflowered is excited to have the hilarious Kate Ascott-Evans on board for another round of Deflowered: Live. Ascott-Evans, who has been a part of Deflowered since it's 2009 inception and debut, reprises her role as Kasey in "Mommy Dearest and the KY Jelly," while also directing Mariah Shaw Gan-El in El Senor. Her multi-talented presence continues to elevate the show to new levels of funny. Combining outlandish humor with quirky girl next door goodness, Ascott-Evans brings the exact mix of sassy and laugh out loud funny needed to create a pitch perfect comedy stew.

Well known to those in the comedy circuit Kate has appeared in film and tv including 'Play Dead', 'Mr Robinson's Driving School', 'Shopnation' and is currently in production for the new show 'Committed' which she also co-created.

Our first foray into live performance! 

It featured performed adaptations of the following six stories, originally published on the site: The Rock of Love Made Me Do It, Kampai, The Adonis and the Ice Cream Man, Mommy Dearest and the KY Jelly, Thirty Seconds, and Dear Mark. 

Performers included: Anna Luke Frazier, Michelle Mellgren, Leonora Gershman-Pitts, Kate Ascott-Evans, Victoria Drake, Melissa Stephens, and Kirstin Eggers.
