For all you vagina-wielding writers out there, we are accepting submissions. Please familiarize yourself with the material online before submitting. Notice, this isn't erotica. Deflowered is interested in the unique situational subtleties of those first times. The magic is in the details. We're looking for stories that examine and challenge oft-held notions of virginity. Collectively, these stories should, in some small way, contribute an additional map of female sexuality that is neither that of the pristine virgin nor that of the dirty whore; and most importantly they need to be compelling to read. If you can write your story in a way that combines the bawdy frankness of Chelsea Handler with the intimate subtleties of Mary Karr...then you are exactly what I'm looking for! PLEASE SUBMIT!

• Stories should be 1000-2000 words.
• Copy your story into the body of your email and send it to submitmystory@defloweredmemoirs.com.  
• Please include a witty 2-3 sentence bio about yourself.  Refer to stories online for examples.
• Please include contact information (email, phone, mailing address).
• If you would like your story to be published under a pen name, include that information.
• Please let us know your blog address if you have one. 

By submitting, you understand that you are giving creator/editor, Abby Kincaid, the non-exclusive right to publish your story on this site (defloweredmemoirs.com) and to adapt your story for inclusion in Deflowered: Live and Rated R without the expectation of compensation.  You are also giving Abby Kincaid and anyone working on behalf of DefloweredMemoirs.com and Deflowered: Live and Rated R, the right to quote and/or reference your story in any and all promotion or media coverage associated with DefloweredMemoirs.com and Deflowered: Live and Rated R.
